fqp25 Posted April 6, 2007 Report Posted April 6, 2007 Tub - Toilet Clearance Like an airline seat... Download Attachment: knee_knocker.JPG 113.31 KB
msteger Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 I guess when you are using the toilet in the sitting position, that the bathtub acts like an ottoman and you put your legs up and relax?
hausdok Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 Nah, You're missing the obvious; the guy homes home tired, has dinner, and then retires to the bathroom for his evening constitutional and a nice long foot soaking. [:-bigeyes
Darren Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 It's fairly common to find toilets 10-12 inches from a wall or vanity (I call out every toilet not the required 15 inches); but that's one I've never seen. Was that a converted 1/2 bath? Darren

It still had a lead drum trap, plus it was the only bath in about a 800 Sq/Ft house. I think the toilet got bumped forward during a half ass kitchen renovation. Frank
Bill Kibbel Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 In most buildings I inspect, the first indoor bathroom was installed a generation or two after it was built - often where it doesn't fit. Everyone in this family has the same blister on their left knees.
Jesse Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 I'd be more concerned about getting one on my ass.
