Shooter Mike Posted January 5, 2007 Report Posted January 5, 2007 For those of you that use a PDA for your reports in the field, how often is memory and issue? I'm trying to decide between devices at this point. The ones I'm deciding between each have the option for memory cards, but one device has 4GB of ROM and USB plugin ability. I've also gone back and forth over wether or not to get a smartphone device. What's your opinion on the matter? Call me fickle, but I just can't decide. No sooner than I think I've decided, I go and change my mind. Thanks,

What's your opinion on the matter? Thanks, Have a Treo 650. Love it. I keep all my contacts and entire calendar on it. Don't use most of the other bells and whistles, but the contacts and calendar are priceless. Syncs flawlessly with my desktop so I always have a backup. No more re-entering phone numbers every time I get a new phone.
carle3 Posted January 5, 2007 Report Posted January 5, 2007 I have the Dell Axim and have been using Home Gauge. I have had no need for additional memory. I keep contacts, calender and a spreadsheet for tracking mileage. I see the smart phone as dupicating what the PDA does so I stick with a typical cell phone.
