swarga Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 Yea, what he said. Now is the time to take care of all that unfinished business. The unfinished bottle of Jack Daniels, Vodka, or other beverage. Lets finish them off and start the year new.
Jack Ahern Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 Happy New Year Brothers and Sisters In addition!! Prosperous-Healthy-Safe-Wize-Adventurous "Be cafeful out there"[:-banghea[8D][:-party]
Brian G Posted December 30, 2006 Report Posted December 30, 2006 Originally posted by swarga The unfinished bottle of Jack Daniels, Vodka, or other beverage. Here's hoping that in the new year all good men will learn that Jack Daniels is caustic swill, unfit for human consumption. Try Maker's Mark. [] Brian G. Noted Bourbon Authority (inactive) []
swarga Posted December 30, 2006 Report Posted December 30, 2006 Now I happen to like Jack but I am always willing to try something new so here is the deal, I will tell you about the dead photo link on your web site [:-banghea and the fact that it says Steve Gladstone is the current president of ASHI,[:-taped] and in exchange you can buy me a drink of the bourbon of your choice at Inspection World[:-bouncy] I like the sound of that.

Brian G Posted December 30, 2006 Report Posted December 30, 2006 Yeah, I have a major overhaul planned for the old website, but I'm doing my software, hardware, and report first (in process as we speak). I'd be glad to buy you a drink of fine straight bourbon anyway, but I won't be at IW this time. Where is it next year? Brian G. St. Thomas Sounds Good [8D]
Bill Kibbel Posted December 30, 2006 Report Posted December 30, 2006 A thread with bourbon in the text caught my attention. Our recycle bin usually has an empty wax-necked Makers Mark bottle for weekly disposal. After a good week or special holiday, you might find an empty Basil Hayden's or Blanton's Single Barrel. Oh yeah, happy new year.
Phillip Posted December 30, 2006 Report Posted December 30, 2006 Happy New year to all. I hope it is a better one for me. I have not looked forward to being 50 which I become on 12/31/06.

Scottpat Posted December 30, 2006 Report Posted December 30, 2006 Happy New Year to all![:-party] I'll be ringing in the new year with the Prairie Home Companion Show in Downtown Nashville. First time in 20+ years I have left my home on New Years Eve! Charlie was correct with the next IW locations, except I think that the Hawaii location has been quashed.

Scott Patterson " Surely you jest! Tell me more. Being self employed has one perk I really enjoy. PRE-Tax dollar vacations. I'm about to book an Alaskan "marketing" conference cruse for this fall. Hawaii is one of those places I'm not been able to go. Tell this is not so![:-weepn]
Brian G Posted December 30, 2006 Report Posted December 30, 2006 New Orleans I'll gladly go to. Not only is it driving distance from me, but I love old N.O. anyway (been about a dozen times). Blues, jazz, art, great food, and the Saints. I'm in. Hawaii would be out of the question. I know a lot of guys look forward to going someplace warm for IW in January, but I wish they would throw in a good northern city once in a while. Chicago, Boston, or Philly, for instance; never been to any of those. Bill, I haven't heard of the other brands you metioned, but if you like The Mark I'd probably like the other stuff you like. Knob Creek came along after I retired, but I hear it's terrific. Brian G. Geaux Saints! [:-footbal
swarga Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 You mean your going to let me drink Jack until 2008, if it is as bad as you say I might not live that long. I thought I was among friends.[:-banghea I guess I will have to drink more Guinness. But then I don't think I will be able to keep the "Belly band this small.
