charlieb Posted November 28, 2006 Author Report Posted November 28, 2006 My thoughts. Is any of this really that hard. Can we no longer think? $130sf! I hate to say it but as a whole the builder did a better job than most.

Bain Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 57 stones in the pediment, not counting the six gravelly things to the far right. The Rain Man's got nothing on me . . .
Terence McCann Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 It always amazes me that some will go through extraordinary measures to make it wrong. Not to mention it's flat out ugly.
Brandon Chew Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 Are those real stones held by mortar or adhesive? Or is it a one-piece plastic faux-stone arch? If real stone I'd call it a safety hazard. It's ugly no matter what it is made from.
charlieb Posted November 29, 2006 Author Report Posted November 29, 2006 real stones held by mortar As a whole this builder did a much better job than most in our area. The stone work (we see little here) is where he fell flat on his face. for more cr**p click below Download Attachment: a142.JPG 28.38 KB Download Attachment: a147.JPG 28.39 KB Download Attachment: a145.JPG 25.74 KB
