Ummm, you might want to research what the average full time electrician gets paid in north suburban Chicago. $80 per hour is very standard, and journeyman get twice what you offered.

Drywall laborer's get the range you're talking about.

And, they need a license, and there are the vaguaries of the Cook & Lake County Electrical Codes, i.e., no NMC.

yep....15-25.00 an hour wont get many GOOD electricians racing to your door.....;( plus they would probably have to union guys anyway..

This guy is not looking for local#134(electricians) type guys ,as in chicago the janitor helpers make as much with local#1 sweeping floors in high rises.
