Scottpat Posted September 7, 2006 Report Posted September 7, 2006 Well it has been many weeks. How is everyone doing! I believe Jim K is working on defining his Six Pack! July 1, I weighed in at 270. Today I'm sitting around 255.

Now I'm at 230 and seem to be stuck there. - Jim Katen, Oregon

Chad Fabry Posted September 8, 2006 Author Report Posted September 8, 2006 Are you guys all 6'6" tall or taller?
Scottpat Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 Are you guys all 6'6" tall or taller? I have big bones! Jim, I also hit a point when I stopped loosing weight. I shocked my system and went on a sweet binge for a couple of days (Snickers and Cheesecake). I gained a few pounds over several days and then went back on the diet. I dropped below the weight that I had been holding at for so long. A doctor told me that your body will do this. It gets accustomed to the new healthy lifestyle and you stop loosing weight.
Erby Posted September 8, 2006 Report Posted September 8, 2006 "Eat less, crap more" Gotta love it. Might want to add MOVE more. Glad to hear all those who are doing so well at losing it! Metaphorical? perhaps!

One caveat: if you turn off the safe search option, "belly band" does return some interesting sites. Someone. please settle this for me. I can't eat, I can't sleep. It seems all I can do is drink merlot. Chad, I turned off the safe search mode, and opened a bottle of Merlot. All I can tell you is that it has been an interesting and enlightening evening. Thanks (I think) Regards Gerry BTW drop a dime when you have a boring 1/2 hour
kshepard Posted September 15, 2006 Report Posted September 15, 2006 If it's the bellyband worn by native men of New Guinea I'll take the merlot and the bellyband forego.

hausdok Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 Wow, Poor little belt! I never got into the competition because I was unsure about what I'd be doing this month. Still am. Two years ago I dropped 62lbs between June 1st and September 1st and had gained it all back again. About a month ago, my belt just about looked like that one and I had to get the weight off. So, out came the NordicTrack and I've done an hour on it every night except for only 2 nights over the past 4 weeks. I'm down two pants sizes and nearly to the third and I've got one more set of holes before I'll have to switch to my smaller belt. I figure I'll be there in 2 to 3 more weeks. This time I don't stop until total weight loss puts me at the height/weight ratio that I'd have to be at if I were still in the army - 175. OT - OF!!! M.
