homnspector Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 For those of you who save your notes from each inspection (I don't), this gadget looks pretty cool! http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications ... E=WEM1112C
hausdok Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 My handwriting is so bad that I can read it for about a day after an inspection. After that, even I can't figure out what it says. Saving it to a gizmo like that probably wouldn't help me but there're probably lots of folks who could use one. ONE TEAM - ONE FIGHT!!! Mike
StevenT Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 I think that's really kewl, and for the price, it's worth a try, there are a number of things that I do that I save my notes (minutes from meetings, etc). I'll let you know.
homnspector Posted May 17, 2006 Author Report Posted May 17, 2006 Mike, it must be a german thing. I also can't read my own writing, and it is getting worse with age. It is kind of funny watching homeowners try to sneak a look at my notepad. They think I know shorthand.
mwg27 Posted May 18, 2006 Report Posted May 18, 2006 Notes! you guys take Notes! No wonder I keep getting all these call backs! Seriously, I take a picture or everything (date plates and all) and 'minimal' notes... Transfer it all to HG and then save (print) as a .pdf and send... Sometimes I can use the 'checklist' for 3 houses before I need a clean one...
