SNations Posted April 25, 2023 Report Posted April 25, 2023 (edited) Do any of you have experience with what a water leak in a radiant floor heat system looks like with infrared? I don't really understand what I'm seeing at this bathroom floor. Other areas of the house with radiant floor heat look just like you'd expect. Tom Raymond Posted April 25, 2023 Report Posted April 25, 2023 Ceramic tile? It's inconsistent contact with the thinset causing the hot spots visible in the image. No hot spot, no thinset.
John Ghent Posted April 27, 2023 Report Posted April 27, 2023 (edited) Just close the feed to the boiler and watch the pressure gauge for any drop. Too many gadgets require lots of experience to analyze properly. My bad. I edited the original statement. Edited April 27, 2023 by John Ghent incorrect statement
