update to windows 10

is there are any ways to update windows 7 to windows 10 for free? Do I have to buy windows 10 with key?

Right, you pretty well need a laptop for report writing and picture display and they come preloaded with Win10.

there is no way. I just bought windows 7 beacuse my friend told me that I can update to win 10 for free, but its not true. the license its really expensive

I suspect that, by 'upgrade', Trent meant a new computer. If you want to be able to upgrade the latest operating system on the same computer, get a Mac.

so you telling me that outside of Poland you can update windows from 7 into 10 ? I remember when Windows 10 was released eveybody was able to update it for free.

If your system is compatible, it's possible to update a Windows 7 machine to Windows 10, but it's not free:

excatly like I said before it's not free anymore. Hmmm thats really cheap. In Poland when you go to any service shop they charge you 100 GBP for license. On the url sent by Jim Katen its like 69 USD. Thats really cheap.
