DonTx Posted March 2, 2006 Author Report Share Posted March 2, 2006 Sure Chris, help yourself. You can tell it threw everything off. The rafters bearing on the wall above have al been notched deeply. Real men of Genuis. In another room, they cut the end joist short so that they could bring the valley rafter to the top plate. It's probably out of place, but I had no plans. Anyway, they notched the hell out of the valley rafter at the top plate. There was only about 2 1/2 inche left of the 2x6 left. Like I said, sometimes they make it too easy.
