Les Posted November 4, 2019 Report Posted November 4, 2019 kinda citrus like sweet. also when I had to mix white lead powder into linseed oil, the dust would taste sweet. "Here is a dollar. Get down to the co-op and get five pounds of white lead."
Mike Lamb Posted November 4, 2019 Author Report Posted November 4, 2019 I have never investigated what lead tastes like until now. I read that lead has a salty and sugary taste which is unusual for poison. Rodents love salt and sugar. I know mice and chipmunks are very fond of copper wire. I have never tasted copper or lead personally. The parents wouldn't let me.
