hausdok Posted February 4, 2006 Report Posted February 4, 2006 Hi Terry, Is this a spot quiz or did you really not read this article that I posted yesterday? Rheem/Ruud uses a two digit month followed by a two digit year, so it's manufactured in April of 1985. ONE TEAM - ONE FIGHT!!! Mike

Garcha Posted February 5, 2006 Report Posted February 5, 2006 Big developers will order huge lots of equipment and it is not uncommon to see a water heater or furnace that out date the home. I've seen it as much as 2 years. I should charge extra every time I have to spend 15 minutes explaining how it works to my clients. Also the age of the house could be determined by when the paper work was recorded which also gives them a 3-8 month jump on the eqipment right off the bat. Sorry for the ramble, it seemed like you were wondering about the age difference. If nothing else I feel better[:-headach
