signatures

Has the ability to have a signature appear in posts on this forum been removed?   I think if members could add signature with link to their website (legit ones of course), it would encourage more activity here.  The links give credit for SEO and can help both sides.  That is if the ability is not abused.

I don't think that feature was ever enabled, unless it was deactivated from abuse.  I have just enabled it (don't know how I figured that out).

Click on your name, top left.  From the menu, select Account Settings

In the left column of your settings page, select Signature.

I don't think the fact it wont show up in mobile view is an issue.  A long as they show up on this forum, back link credit can go to forum members websites when google and the other bots crawl this forum.

Here's a tip Bill.  Type text that your clients are likely to put in a search query and make it visible in your sig.  Then hyperlink that text to your website URL.  Crawlers collect that info and it could increase your traffic.  Look at the way I did it.  Just a suggestion.

Yes, on a PC, not a phone.  No signatures showing on any of the posts.

I'm not seeing any signatures either, on my Mac desktop using Safari.

No visible signatures here using Chrome or Firefox.

As soon as I followed Bill's instruction, my signature and others who have enabled signatures, came back.  I'm using Firefox on a MacBook.

So, not only do you have to enable your own signature, you also have to click the little button at the top of the box to "show other people's signatures.

By the way, in my Chrome, my name is at top right, not top left.
