Trent Tarter
I don't recall seeing these types of circuit breakers before. I found two of these 3-pole breakers in a small electrical panel in garage. They are 240 volt and appear to go the well pumps/equipment.
Jim Katen
Those are 3-phase breakers. I see three main lugs in the first picture. Was this a 3-phase panel?

Jim Katen
That's definitely a 3-phase panel and it looks like it's actually wired with 3 phase power, but it's hard to tell for sure without testing the main lugs. The strange thing is that little red wire in the middle lug. I'm not sure what they were trying to achieve there.

Yes I came to the conclusion it was a 3-phase panel, the small read wire on middle lug me wondering?
Jim Katen
It's pretty safe to say that no matter what the little red wire is, it's wrong.
