Bundled wires left in electric panel

For some reason the electrician did not trim off the excess wire length and wrapped them up and left them in the bottom of the panel. Could there be any chance of overheating? Is it worth complaining about?

I'd say it's asking for trouble. Draw enough amperage through the wires for long enough and, yes, it'll get warm.

I alway try to neatly pack some slack in the wires. Slack accommodates changing the breaker location, etc. This sparky did a pretty good job of it. In some industrial contracting, it's required. That's where I got the habit from.

Extra slack is great, but that looks like enough extra rope to have a hanging.
