John Dirks Jr Posted February 3, 2017 Report Posted February 3, 2017 For you tradesmen, what in your experience is a durable reliable folding razor knife. I'm buying a gift for my son who uses razor knifes in flooring work. Thanks
Chad Fabry Posted February 3, 2017 Report Posted February 3, 2017 In my experience, none of the folding knives are good for everyday professional use.

Chad Fabry Posted February 3, 2017 Report Posted February 3, 2017 http://www.tools4flooring.com/crain-727 ... -1270.html They make one for carpet too. Here's the rub, neither of them fold. Get him a knife and a holster and save him the angst of a heavy folding knife that's hard to open and when finally opened, the blade will pull out during use.
John Dirks Jr Posted February 3, 2017 Author Report Posted February 3, 2017 Ill have to see if he wears a belt that would hold the holster. He does have Duluth fire hose cargo pants so I think he's been carrying the knife in a pocket. Not sure though.
kurt Posted February 3, 2017 Report Posted February 3, 2017 What Chad said. With a bunch of hook blades.
