Damaged AC Coil

This is the AC coil at an electric furnace. At the job, I thought it looked scorched but now I think it's just dented. Any thoughts on this damage?

I have an assortment of 'combs' that are made for straightening such aluminum fins out but that damage there is likely too far gone to fix. They break off if you try too hard to fix them. It won't have any appreciable effect on performance anyway.

Ignore it.
