Nolan Kienitz Posted April 4, 2016 Report Posted April 4, 2016 A bit of history for sale: Sears Craftsman Home For Sale: Celina, TX
Bill Kibbel Posted April 5, 2016 Report Posted April 5, 2016 I have a bunch of catalogs 1911-1926. It's really fun telling clients the model name and then showing them the original kit listing. It includes the floor plan, available options and price.
kurt Posted April 5, 2016 Report Posted April 5, 2016 I've only ever seen one of them. I recall it being a pretty nice place. Didn't the retail for a few thousand bucks?
Tom Raymond Posted April 5, 2016 Report Posted April 5, 2016 That was a nice place before HGTV threw up on it. Man those are some hideous finishes.
kurt Posted April 5, 2016 Report Posted April 5, 2016 That was a nice place before HGTV threw up on it. That's funny. I didn't bother to check out the slideshow. Whew.......
Les Posted April 5, 2016 Report Posted April 5, 2016 That is quite poorly done. I love the bathroom sink trap - flexible and artsy!
Nolan Kienitz Posted April 7, 2016 Author Report Posted April 7, 2016 That is quite poorly done. I love the bathroom sink trap - flexible and artsy! The flexible drain lines must be a stock item for the "drive by" plumbers. I keep seeing more and more of them and keep writing them up for replacement each/every time.
gtblum Posted April 8, 2016 Report Posted April 8, 2016 Sears sold a few homes in this area, too. So did Aladdin. I inspected this 57 in 2112. Found it in the catalogue for the client. They never changed a thing from the original floor plan. I can't find it to post with the picture and I don't remember the model.
