Looks like a combo meter/main panel that's common here on mobile home services but I haven't seen a duplex version until now. I'm familiar with the commercial meter banks that have individual disconnects past each meter. The two panels are subs, most likely. Marc Posted January 15, 2016 Report Share Posted January 15, 2016 No. I don't think so. Two more cables on the meter neutral bar are needed, this time as EGC's, one to each sub-panel. Separate neutrals from EGC's within each sub, bond the enclosures, et cetera. What could go wrong is that neutral currents coming in from the house to the neutral bus bars on either sub could find their way to the meter box via the path provided by the enclosures and the conduit between sub and meter box.
