Inspector1 Posted January 6, 2016 Report Posted January 6, 2016 Check out the water line to the toilet. I recommended that it be replaced. [:-bigeyes Click to Enlarge 24.82 KB
Bill Kibbel Posted January 6, 2016 Report Posted January 6, 2016 That's a repair kit sold at the hardware store - the one where I get my prescriptions filled. I used to carry one in a foil wrapper in my wallet - just in case.
gtblum Posted January 6, 2016 Report Posted January 6, 2016 Nothing wrong with that repair. That material has proven to prevent millions in damage.
Scottpat Posted January 6, 2016 Report Posted January 6, 2016 Looks like PB pipe also in that doublewide!
Jim Baird Posted January 6, 2016 Report Posted January 6, 2016 ...I have seen the garden hose section and clamp fix, which I credited to an underpaid handyman paid by a cheapskate owner occupant/plantation type. I recommended repair, but I think the buyer was willing to wait for failure befroe sending some poor guy under there to fix. This is the most "creative" fix I have seen.
Marc Posted January 6, 2016 Report Posted January 6, 2016 Bill is just joking, right? That's not really a....or is it? Marc
mjr6550 Posted January 7, 2016 Report Posted January 7, 2016 Bill is just joking, right? That's not really a....or is it? Marc That was my guess too.
Brandon Whitmore Posted January 7, 2016 Report Posted January 7, 2016 Looks like a poor man's water hammer arrestor to me.
edwardh1 Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 Possibly those hose clamps need to be Marine rated as its near water (or will be soon)?
Denray Posted January 13, 2016 Report Posted January 13, 2016 An example of what PB can do, is what I'd tell the client.
Jim Katen Posted January 13, 2016 Report Posted January 13, 2016 Why is there a shotgun shell inside the condom?
Brandon Whitmore Posted January 13, 2016 Report Posted January 13, 2016 Why is there a shotgun shell inside the condom? I had a response typed involving things going off, and mess prevention, but decided I'd better exercise some restraint.
