Marc Posted October 12, 2015 Report Share Posted October 12, 2015 Code Check assumes that 60 degree cable might be used but your cable is type USE which is rated at 75 degrees. #1 USE is good for 100 amps and USE-1 (90 degree rating) is good for 115 amps on subs. 60 degree cable (Types TW or UF), size #1 would only be good for 85 amps. Marc you can only use the 90 degree rating if the conductor terminates in a 90 degree terminal.
