Marc In our county the only muni inspector left on staff cannot even read the newspaper, so there is a lot that escapes him. Another good reason why every buyer should hire a competent inspector new construction or not.

Around here, you need to have the panel cover off when the inspector arrives, or he turns around, gets in his car and drives away.
