kurt Posted July 29, 2015 Report Posted July 29, 2015 Same here. The first one especially. Wannabe's got some licks.
John Kogel Posted July 29, 2015 Report Posted July 29, 2015 They are all good.[:-thumbu], but need artsy titles to sell them to the public. 'Nailed and exposed' 'Planks on the Potomac' 'All Decked Out' something like that. 'Well Hung Units'. It'll sell if you frame it and name it. Ask Mike, he makes a killing in photography. []
Jim Katen Posted July 29, 2015 Report Posted July 29, 2015 #1 needs to have a poem superimposed on it that ends: The Lord replied, "The times when you have seen only one set of nail heads, is when I nailed for you."
Marc Posted July 29, 2015 Report Posted July 29, 2015 They are all good.[:-thumbu], but need artsy titles to sell them to the public. Yeah. Once I knew what it was, that ruined it for me. Best left to the imagination. Marc
Jim Baird Posted July 29, 2015 Author Report Posted July 29, 2015 Great comments. As a former carpenter I am attracted to nails. (To the guy with a hammer everything looks like a nail.) I like #1 best, too. Hardly a pattern it's more like a parade. Planks are about 4" thick, nails must be 8-10". I'm sure Lamb would agree with me that everyone has creative energy, but you do have to turn a knob to make it flow.
kurt Posted July 29, 2015 Report Posted July 29, 2015 Well hung units....a title in search of an image..... No, never mind.

Les Posted July 29, 2015 Report Posted July 29, 2015 two is really good. I would hang it. "Bevis with Butthead and their joints"
Mike Lamb Posted July 29, 2015 Report Posted July 29, 2015 You have the eye. I like one best with maybe a little more contrast. 2 is cool but is a little too messy and lacks balance for me. 3 is an HI artography keeper.
