Mike Lamb
Do the wires need to be protected coming through the aluminum soffit?
Jim Katen
If that's NM cable, it's not allowed to be used at all in a location where it will get wet or be exposed to UV light.

Mike Lamb
A friend sent the photos and asked if I saw code violations. She is very upset a neighbor put this up and it now glares into her house at night.
Steven Hockstein
Many towns have a light pollution aspect to their land use and zoning ordinance. Have her talk to the local zoning/construction official. Better yet, she should have a friendly talk with the neighbor and maybe they can figure it out between them!
