Congrats. The learning never stops. Studies show that HI's live longer than doctors.

I get great satisfaction doing what I do. I will have my 20 yrs next year.

Actually, May will be 29 years for me. Still enjoy it, but I'm definitely grumpier, especially when the buyer and his family all want to cram into the same bathroom I'm inspecting...

Uh huh. Me too. Not too bad though. I reserve mine for listing agents, sellers that feel the need to explain their house to me, or other individuals involved in similarly disrespectful dweeb-like behaviors.

Customers get full wattage. Anyone not competently qualified to comment.....it ain't a team effort, go sit on the bench.

I remember when I thought the first inspection ended my HI career. I was scared shitless. I'm approaching year 8 now. Income from my part time efforts continues to grow each year. 65k gross last year while maintaining a full time job at the same time. Yep, a decent gig indeed.
