Jim Katen Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 I'm curious. Is anyone here young enough to not recognize the 130-amp fuse?
Brandon Whitmore Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 'm curious. Is anyone here young enough to not recognize the 130-amp fuse? I think I know what it is, but don't know for sure.
Trent Tarter Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 I'm curious. Is anyone here young enough to not recognize the 130-amp fuse? It's a pull tab, the way we used to open up a can of pop, I was to young to drink beer but I remember my Dad pulling them off.
Erby Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 Uhm, Trent, Spoiler. He was asking if anybody was young enough to NOT know what it is, not what it was.
Greg Booth Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 ..........I'm old enough to remember how we opened beer cans before we had 'em...........Greg
Scottpat Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 Does anyone remember when cans had no pull tabs and you had to use a "church key" to open them? How about the cans that had the two push buttons on top?
kurt Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 I remember how the damn things littered every beach.
resqman Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 stepped on a pop top, cut my heel, had to cruise on back home... Jimmy Buffett
Jerry Simon Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 I'm curious. Is anyone here young enough to not recognize the 130-amp fuse? Ain't that a spindle converter to play a 45 instead of a 33 & 1/3 ?
Chad Fabry Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 The display is missing one- small round fruit with the caption "unnamed currant"
mjr6550 Posted December 4, 2014 Report Posted December 4, 2014 I'm curious. Is anyone here young enough to not recognize the 130-amp fuse? I'm old enough to know what it is, but I question the 130-amp rating.
Marc Posted December 4, 2014 Report Posted December 4, 2014 My earliest recollection is the can opener on a string around the neck. Marc

Jack Davenport Posted December 7, 2014 Report Posted December 7, 2014 How many of you know that a copper penny has the ampere rating printed on it ?
John Dirks Jr Posted December 8, 2014 Report Posted December 8, 2014 As a young kid I remember pulling on the tab to open a can and having it break off. It's one of my earliest memories of having to resort to tools in order to get what I wanted. In later young years, I remember using the can opener on the bottom edge of beer cans. Then tilt head back, lift can up and pop the top for the forced gravity feed down the gullet.
Jim Katen Posted December 8, 2014 Report Posted December 8, 2014 How many of you know that a copper penny has the ampere rating printed on it ? Ok. I'll bite. (Even though I feel like I'm being set up.) I did not know that a copper penny has the ampere rating printed on it, how is that, Jack?

(Even though I feel like I'm being set up.) I did not know that a copper penny has the ampere rating printed on it, how is that, Jack? Not being set up in a bad way - just a fun way the ampere rating of a copper penny is stamped above Lincolns head: "In God We Trust"
