Water Heater for in floor heat

Is a domestic water heater gas 50 gallon ok to use for in floor heat? this is all its used for

Depends on the mfg. listing, size of area being heated, and other installation details. All things being appropriate, they work fine.

There's more to a water heater than it's water capacity. And then on the other side of the equation is the combined heat load of the rooms of the house that will be heated by this radiant in-floor system.
