Article 210.52D exception allows you to mount the recepticle no more than 12" below the basin on the cabinet. If the recepticle that is shown just below the basin is GFCI protected I think that meets the intent of the code.

Any problem with this? Not exactly on a wall but it is within 3 feet. House built in 1995.

No other outlets on this wall or near the sinks. All are GFCI.

Looks to me that a knockout is open at top left of junction box. If I am not mistaken no unsued knockouts that are open are allowed.
