rjmiller Posted August 29, 2014 Report Posted August 29, 2014 Hello everyone, I have been following discussions here and decided to share my favourite flashlight, the Nitecore TM-15. About the size of a soda can, it has several output levels with the maximum being about 3 or 4x as powerful as a single car headlight (2500 lumens vs 900). The 4-18650 batteries can be recharged right in the flashlight, and you can even install 8-CR123 batteries (if you can afford that). I especially like that it is fat enough to easily tail stand and can light an entire room. As a bonus, you can easily light the entire side of most houses. This thing could probably pass for search and rescue. Enjoy! P.S. http://goinggear.com/nitecore-tm15-2450-lumen-triple-xm-l-led-flashlight-1.html sold mine. Great service.
kurt Posted August 29, 2014 Report Posted August 29, 2014 Looks like a nice light. At $300 per, I'm going to have to admire it from afar. Thanks for sharing, though.
Marc Posted August 29, 2014 Report Posted August 29, 2014 Somebody here will likely go for it. Remember Erby and that big screwdriver? It's a macho thing. BTW Erby, my screwdriver bigger than yours. Marc
MMustola Posted August 29, 2014 Report Posted August 29, 2014 The size of a soda can? To big for me. I like a flash lint that fits nicely in my back pocket.
Tom Raymond Posted August 29, 2014 Report Posted August 29, 2014 I'll stick with my Coast. I dropped it and it quit. I mailed it and $5 to Oregon, they said it couldn't be fixed and mailed me a new one. When they stop replacing it I can afford to replace it. $60 with batteries.
