Jerry Lozier Posted February 16, 2014 Report Posted February 16, 2014 Trying to think of any reasons why A/C on a ground (water) source heat pump could not be operated when outside temp is below 60-65 degrees and the same with heat side above 65 degrees. Beings it does not have an outside condensing unit??? Inquiring minds need to know??
Marc Posted February 16, 2014 Report Posted February 16, 2014 If the groundwater-based condenser and all refrig lines are within the insulation envelope of the house then I see no reason why you couldn't safety operate the AC under those conditions. Marc
