Cool. I know a guy who hand builds Dusenbergs using tiny little lathes and tiny little mills. He hand carves the hex bolts out brass and makes wheel spokes from hair thin stainless wire. When finished, the doors, hood and trunk are operable, the steering works, the wheels roll on tires carved from rubber. His models get 6 figures.

Speaking of illusions, a few years back I snapped this pic in front of a new condo building I was inspecting. I called out a missing piece of Hardyplank. []
