rkenney Posted September 23, 2013 Report Posted September 23, 2013 Why would you vent an underground fuel tank that is outside already into the basement? Two pipes through the wall is usually the other way around. Tank is already in the basement, one is fill other is vent. Quite obviously not the case although I have seen the pipes still in the wall after the tank was removed from the basement.
hoosier inspector Posted September 23, 2013 Report Posted September 23, 2013 Could be an abandon two pipe jet well. Can you see where a pump was mounted? Is that a j-box in the 3rd pic? If the panel is old enough it may still be labeled.
