My son the jokester

My next door neighbor found a small sinkhole in their driveway yesterday and they called the fire department (I am pretty sure there is a broken sewer line that has caused the hole). The fire department taped-off the driveway told them to park in the street until they get it repaired.

While they were out for dinner tonight my son and his friends decided to add some chalk artwork.

Calvin was always creating some gruesome scene. His best efforts included body lines, miniature snowmen and red food dye.

Yes. There is actually a pretty big void under the driveway in the area of the small hole. My neighbor did not know what to do or who to call.

The funniest part was when I saw the fire truck and I went outside to see what was happening. The fire chief told them that he could not do anything unless it was on fire. Needless to say, he was not very helpful.
