34 yr old water heater ??

Giant water heater. Build. Intel. Center says that Giant does not use serial number for the manufacturing date but it's printed on the data plate. This label does not indicate a manufacturing date per say, except maybe for this 6 79. Could this water heater be 34 years old?

They changed their name in 84', so it's likely at least 29 yrs old.

Giants are some of the best water heaters. Label is down low on the older ones.

yep, the label on this one is right above the flush valve.

My late in-laws had a home in Scottsboro, AL that was built in about 1968. The electric water heater was replaced in 2000 or 2001. I don't remember the brand.
