Don't these guys know that others have been there before? That all they're trying to accomplished has been done more than once already?

It's like trying to invent the wheel when others have already had it for millennia.

Some would rather invent a toaster from raw earth materials than just go to a Wal-Mart and pick one up.

Marc, that is so true but this is Canada you are talking about.... They like to do it on their own just like we do here in the States.

They all got bent out of shape last week after this show on tv that showed this old lady who bought a mobile home that was full of mold. She had it inspected but the guy's name must've been Magoo and never saw anything. After playing the emotional card and after a good river crying on camera, the whole province got pitty of her and now they want to regulate all of a sudden.

Regulations, regulatory bodies, fees and more fees, membership, taxes, mandatory UFC's and education every year, regulatory forms and mandatory service agreements... what else now? I am a member of a professional organization with well defined standards of practice. Quebec has always wanted to do things their own way because they feel "distinct" as a french population in North America. They are making a case for re-inventing the wheel here yet again. Just educate the public.

Get a professional. People always go with the cheapest and they get what they pay for.

Professional? Do you mean that unless an HI is a member of a 'professional' organization, he isn't a professional?

If you don't mind, give me your definition of 'professional' and 'professional organization' as you used these in your post. I'm just curious.
