Erby Posted April 9, 2013 Report Posted April 9, 2013 I was surprised to see this new style of AC unit at the rear of this afternoon's inspection. I thought all outside units needed a coil for the refrigerant to pass through! Click to Enlarge 77.56 KB Click to Enlarge 80.83 KB Can you believe they took the time to take the unit apart AND put it back together? Normally, they just snip the refrigerant lines, throw the whole thing in the back of the truck and gone.
AHI in AR Posted April 9, 2013 Report Posted April 9, 2013 Maybe they were hoping no one would notice...
Jim Baird Posted April 9, 2013 Report Posted April 9, 2013 Some pickpockets are so good you don't know your wallet is missing till you get home.
Richard Moore Posted April 9, 2013 Report Posted April 9, 2013 So, what will that get you at your local No-Questions-Scrap-Yard, and how much meth can you buy for that?
Marc Posted April 9, 2013 Report Posted April 9, 2013 Actually, that coil comes out pretty quick. If he didn't reconnect wires or put back the screws, it could all be done in 10 minutes. Only question I have...how'd be get the gas out quickly without the neighbors hearing it? Marc
inspector57 Posted April 10, 2013 Report Posted April 10, 2013 Looks awfully neat. I'm guessing they were going to replace the defective coil.
