ramdino Posted March 5, 2013 Report Posted March 5, 2013 I came across a GE Range today that did not have a bottom element, yet when I turned it on it got hot, I think from the broil element. Anyone ever heard of one of these before? It was an all electric unit.
AHI in AR Posted March 5, 2013 Report Posted March 5, 2013 A lot of newer units have the element under the floor of the oven.
Bill Kibbel Posted March 5, 2013 Report Posted March 5, 2013 Concealed lower element for easier cleaning.
ramdino Posted March 6, 2013 Author Report Posted March 6, 2013 The house was 10 yrs old but the unit looked newer. It was a digtial type. First time for everthing I reckon.
