MDBoilerGuy Posted January 20, 2013 Report Posted January 20, 2013 [:-magnify There has been a pretty high turn over it seems for Inspector Jobs in Texas. Especially for the State. Friend of mine who works there said be real careful about working for the State. Lots of firings. The place is a three ring circus right now. Chief Boiler Inspector for Texas was fired a couple of years ago, and the Guy who is now in charge, helped him on his way. Current position is open due to a firing. Lots of back biting and micro managing. The latest Chief barely has five years experience as an Inspector. They make you work compulsory overtime at straight comp time hour for hour, and if you do not use it up by the end of the year it is taken away from you.[:-yuck]
