Stephen Lagueux Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 Article deleted This article is turning out to ba a hoax. So much for my first post, now I feel really stupid. Oh well.

Jim Morrison Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 Yeah, the names of the people in the article should have been a clue. Harry Balzac
John Kogel Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 Welcome, Stephen. I request/suggest the moderators remove this thread as the title sends a message of paranoia and fear in the HI profession. [] It's a joke. As I said on CB's blog, if you're not here for the laughs, what are you here for? The money??

Neal Lewis Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 I request/suggest the moderators remove this thread as the title sends a message of paranoia and fear in the HI profession. I request/suggest the moderators reinstate this thread as it adds some much needed humor and levity to the HI profession. Ya gotta admit it was funny, and you tell from the first sentence it wasn't real.

Ya gotta admit it was funny, and you tell from the first sentence it wasn't real. I second that! If you couldn't see it in the first sentence, go back and read it again. http://buellinspections.com/you-simply- ... _205173405 You simply must be nuts if you saw this as anything other than a joke.
Jim Katen Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 . . . You simply must be nuts if you saw this as anything other than a joke. Unless English isn't your first language.
Mike Lamb Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 That was great and should be required reading by all.
allseason Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 I'm pretty sure Dewey Cheatum and Howe is from a Three Stooges episode. All this article needs is a couple of eye pokes. Why I oughta!
Mike Lamb Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 I used to buy lists from the Chicago Law Bulletin of real estate lawyers by zip code and solicit them for referrals via the US Mail. One female attorney's name was Mary Lies. I always got a kick out of that.
Erby Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 Charlie writes some great humor. There's more of it on his blog. http://activerain.com/blogs/cbuell Scroll down past the first article to see more articles listed.
hausdok Posted January 18, 2013 Report Posted January 18, 2013 It was originally submitted as an article by the OP. I read it. I know Charley. I knew it was a phony story but I put the link up anyway 'cuz I thought it was funny and then I posted it to open topics. There was no need to delete it. All you had to do was edit your original comment to say that it was fiction and comical. ONE TEAM - ONE FIGHT!!! Mike
Stephen Lagueux Posted January 21, 2013 Author Report Posted January 21, 2013 Well, I'm from Quebec and up here Dowey, Cheetam and Howe is pretty much unknown but when you see the pictures of Larry, Curly and Mo as the partners of this firm, we get the point...lol
Jim Katen Posted January 21, 2013 Report Posted January 21, 2013 Well, I'm from Quebec and up here Dowey, Cheetam and Howe is pretty much unknown but when you see the pictures of Larry, Curly and Mo as the partners of this firm, we get the point...lol Stephen, In English, the name of the firm is a pun. When you say it out loud, it comes out as, "Do we cheat them, and how." The plaintiff's name comes out as, "find it all," and the judge's name, "show them no mercy." All this would be obvious to a native English speaker, but not so much to a French speaker.
