TOPSUPERMAN Posted December 20, 2012 Report Posted December 20, 2012 Hi All, I am building a new home in Sanantonio. The builder is using T ply Green for the exterior sheathing - when I asked him why green T ply and not REd T ply - he says It is for vapor barrier like tyvec and studs are placed with 16" space and are diagnolly attached with studs - so they hold weight of the house. If green T ply OK without wrap sheet and are the studs like that bear house weight ??? Thanks a lot for comments

Nolan Kienitz Posted December 23, 2012 Report Posted December 23, 2012 There are many good inspectors in the San Antonio market that you should engage to help guide you through this process with such questions. Send me a message (offline ... NolanATNolansInspections.com) and I'll provide you some contacts. .
