I'd bet it's original too. Just about anyting you find with "o-matic" in the name is going to be late 40's and 50's when folks were fascinated with convenience and automatic stuff.

Come to think of it, the Borg-Warner automatic transmission in my '58 Packard was called a Flight-o-Matic by Studebaker-Packard.
