I just watched it on DVD. Jeeeeezzzz, that Ridley Scott is one dark dude. Regular Darth Vader without the mask.

Wouldn't want to have his dreams.

I saw it when it came out. The only reason I agreed to go is because he promised that it *wasn't* an Alien prequel. . .

Watched it last weekend. Some what disappointing and definitely not an Alien prequel, however, it did set the stage for a future Alien movie. Cool special effects and of course Charlize Theron...

What do you mean "not an Alien prequel?" !!!! It looked exactly like one.

There were a few indications throughout but not really till the end did we see one that truly resembled "Alien". I remember Scott saying that it was a part of the Alien franchise, but, I guess, there are more "likeness's" than not. I rescind my previous review.
