Different type of wall heater for me today. Biosmart(Therapeutic Infrared Heat). According to the manufacturer it's supposed to relieve pain in aching joints. Didn't notice the difference after I left...

In all seriousness. Does anyone have an idea of coverage area for these fancy green heaters?

I'd guess the same as any electric heat...about 10 - 14 watts per square foot.

It's a simple wall heater with a higher than average price, I'd say.

It's bogus. Heat transmits by convection, conduction and radiation. There are differences between the three but that's it. It's about fooling consumers and making money.
