Denray Posted October 6, 2012 Report Posted October 6, 2012 I can't remember seeing mod bit laid out vertically on a low slope. Is that OK? Click to Enlarge 73.14 KB
John Kogel Posted October 6, 2012 Report Posted October 6, 2012 It is not correct, but because it is torched on, it won't leak for a long while. A house I drive past every day has it laid that way. I had a low slope roof about a month ago that was lapped backwards, the uphill strip laid first. Is it the fumes they breath all day??
Bill Kibbel Posted October 6, 2012 Report Posted October 6, 2012 1. Let's try to avoid calling it roll roofing - that's a different product. 2. Several manufacturers allow it to be either perpendicular or parallel to the roof incline. 3. Some require it to be one or the other, depending on slope.
