In the 9/3/12 Newsweek economy section "The Housing Market Is Making A Comeback," HI's get left out of the money loop as home sales improve.

"And every time a home is sold, that's money in the pockets of real-estate agents, mortgage brokers, appraisers, lawyers and movers."

No respect.

As far as the claim for comeback is concerned, sure, I'm inspecting houses but there's two sides to the coin. It seems that every other deal is either a short sale or a foreclosure. For each winner, there's a looser. Don't seem like much of a genuine economic comeback to me.
