Denray Posted August 28, 2012 Report Posted August 28, 2012 New panel could handle 240, but one leg kept out. Small place, but still? Why keep it out? Click to Enlarge 42.88 KB Click to Enlarge 61.91 KB
Neal Lewis Posted August 28, 2012 Report Posted August 28, 2012 Years ago I ran into the same situation. I was told that because a 120 volt service was upgraded, that the final approval and hookup of the other leg had yet to be completed by the electric utility.
Denray Posted August 28, 2012 Author Report Posted August 28, 2012 Thank you Neal. The service panel at the other house on the same property had a new panel too, with 7 throws to shut it off.
ghentjr Posted August 28, 2012 Report Posted August 28, 2012 Is that a #10 wire jumper on a 100 amp breaker?
Denray Posted August 28, 2012 Author Report Posted August 28, 2012 Yep, but there were only (3) 20 amp breakers on it. And I did the pass to an electrician.
