How or if it gets resolved is a good way to put it. "We made the mushroom go away and we moved in?"

The good thing is if they are only responsible for their little patch, they can cut away the concrete and repair their little section of sill.

Down the road, though, it will be trouble for everybody, regardless of the ownership on paper. They are still joined at the hip, IMO. And they will be bound by the restrictions of the HOA to keep that stupid porch as is. [:-dunce]
