Jim Katen Posted July 21, 2012 Report Posted July 21, 2012 Is anyone here aware of whether or not there is a license, certification, or merit badge available for inspecting cedar siding? The Cedar Shake & Shingle Bureau offers "memberships" but that's not quite the same. This is for a customer who needs an opinion from someone who is, preferably, credentialed rather than someone who has XX years in the bidness.

ericwlewis Posted July 21, 2012 Report Posted July 21, 2012 When I earned my Eagle Scout in 1980 there was no merit badge and they hadn't added it in 2000 when I began a 4 year stint as scoutmaster. Check with the Campfire girls?[:-hspin]
