Richard Moore Posted May 21, 2012 Report Posted May 21, 2012 ...if using the wall switch by the door is just too far away. Download Attachment: 120520P091x.jpg 88.13 KB Why it needed to be at pee-splash height I don't know, but at least it was protected by the room's GFCI.
Marc Posted May 21, 2012 Report Posted May 21, 2012 If you ponder the path of a ground fault current that could result, from switch to earth.....eeeeyoowwww! The GFCI wouldn't eliminate the shock, just reduce it to a low value and cut it short to a fraction of a second. Marc
John Kogel Posted May 21, 2012 Report Posted May 21, 2012 I'd recommend a motion detector on that switch for hands free operation. [] At least it's on the left - eat with the right, wipe with the left, eh?
