Darren Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 First photo shows set-up; would you state the second photo show evidence of back-drafting? Click to Enlarge 31.37 KB Click to Enlarge 40.61 KB
Marc Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 I wouldn't say that abnormal back drafting is evidenced by your photo. Some back drafting is normal. Marc
Neal Lewis Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 Darren, it looks like there could be a short period of backdrafting when the inducer fan starts up on the furnace. I probably wouldn't call it backdrafting just from the photo.
hausdok Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 I agree, Not backdrafting; just spillage. Where are those appliances? Heated or unheated area? Some pretty sharp bends in those vent connectors. Keep in mind the none greater than 45deg except one no greater than 60deg rule. ONE TEAM - ONE FIGHT!!! Mike
